CANCELLATIONS & PAYMENT
We accept the following forms of payment:
cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Foxglove Gift Certificates and checks with prior approval.
A valid credit card will be required to reserve the room but no deposit will be taken at the time the reservation is made.
CANCELLATIONS MORE THAN 14 DAYS PRIOR to the first day of the reservation may be subject to a one time $25 cancellation fee. That's it.
CANCELLATIONS MADE 14 DAYS OR LESS from the first day of the reservation are responsible for the entire cost of the reservation unless we can re-book your stay. We will charge the card on file, refund the portion re-booked and notify you of the refund. Honestly, we work hard to fill those rooms and we usually do.
Weather, illness, pets running away... we understand that life happens. Please call us as soon as possible if you feel it is unsafe to travel due to weather or illness. We want to make sure our guests are safe and healthy. We'd love to discuss the rescheduling of your stay.
KIDS, SMOKING, PETS, ETC...
The Inn is not well suited for children, especially smoking ones...
We try to maintain an adult only atmosphere. Kids 12 and over are welcomed with the understanding that quiet and privacy are important to our guests. On rare occasions we make exceptions for military families, etc. with younger children. Please call before booking regarding children under age 12. Extra charges may apply.
We are a non-smoking building. Smoking is permitted on all porches and public Inn grounds. Please be considerate of other guests. A cleaning fee of $250 may be charged for smoking in suites. Please don't.
Candles, while romantic, are not permitted in guest rooms. Please use LED candles instead. This old house thanks you.
Damage to the Inn... it hasn't happened yet, but that's why your card is on file.
Pets are not allowed to stay at the Inn. They may be allowed on site to visit. We highly recommend Cajun Acres for boarding. It's pampering for your pup.
Service animals are always welcome. Please let us know in advance. We can direct you to the most accommodating suites.
Check-in 3 pm, Check-out 11 am
We can often accommodate early arrivals or late check-outs with notice. Please call us or stop by if you arrive in town early. We will do our best to get you checked in.
EXTRA GUESTS & TRAVELING WITH OTHERS
Rates are per night for double occupancy. Extra guests are welcome for an extra charge of $35 per night for adults. The fee for children under 12 may be less and we will happily discuss your circumstances when you contact us.
Here are some helpful tips when traveling with other guests...
Our larger suites have sitting areas for gathering and the possibility of dining together. All but Quiet Rose have access to a porch from the suite. Quiet Rose and Cedar share a hallway and are often booked together. It may be possible to set up group breakfasts on the porch.
